WATER JET FRUSTRATION

I run a Flow Waterjet currently running the Hypertherm automation system.  My current issue that has been causing delays to my production is the following:

When I have my abrasive ready and my pressure is set to the desired specification I turn on the abrasive switch to enable the initial pierce when all of a sudden I hear a pop and the HP water blasts up the Pazer nozzle plugs with some of the water being pushed up the actual abrasive line into the actual sand lines.

I have taken apart the paser body many times and changed mixing tubes as well as the orifice assembly and i am still having the same blast of HP water.

As entertaining it is to see the plugs blasts into the oblivion i really need to get this fixed.  Has anyone had a similar issue??

your timings are obviously off. I run two omax machines so I cant really help other than stating the obvious to me.

Nothing worse than seeing water crawl up the garnet feed line. Can be really frustrating.

Do you know how to adjust the delays on the machine? If not call tech support! No shame in making that phone call!

Tech services for Omax have helped me time to time, and time to time they have learned from me too. They have modified software because of me. I run the machines to its limits, and program them to their limits and beyond. Omax techs have told me the machines were not designed to do this or that. Designed or not this is what I am doing with your machines lol! Why? Cause these are awesome machines and if you can make money doing what they are not designed to do, but accomplish it and make loads of money, its another selling feature for future buyers.

Also is your on off valve sealing completely? Don't know your machine but the valve is either manual or automatic, either way it needs to seal until you are ready to cut. If its not sealing prior to cutting water mixes with sand and you are screwed.

Call the techs for advice. Should be a pretty simple problem to solve. If you are not getting anywhere with one tech ask to speak to another. Don't be a jerk, another tech may have more experience or less, but troubleshooting issues its never bad to have a second opinion.
