We've had our Flow unit for about 3 1/2 years now and have had a issue slow occur on a more frequent basis. While the FlowCut software is running and the unit is actively cutting, it will stop and shut the pump down. No error. We can start the pump back up and continue cutting from that point. It used to happen once in a great while and now is more frequently, at least one a day. Has anyone else had this issue?
Also, the computer on our machine runs Windows XP as its operating system. Has anyone upgraded there machine to Windows 7 or higher and if so is it worth it?
I had the same thing happen. I just went through my emails and did not find where they had answered me on that particular problem because we had quite a few of issues going on. But, to fix a bigger issue we had, they ended up replacing the PMAC card. Haven't had it happen again.
I am having the same computer problem with my machine. It will cut then all of a sudden the program freezes and the pump will still work. Flow is telling me to upgrade my computer for $14000.00 plus . I do not think its the computer that is causing this issue. I am looking at the pmac board may be the problem. $2200.00 . I will keep you updated when I change out the pmac board.
