How to calculate the Total length of lines in a Design ?

We have Microstep water-jet Cutting machines . In order to give the quotation i need to calculate the total length of lines . We used to use an external CNC Router CAM CADD Software which can be installed in any Microsoft Xp Supported PC . But now that Software is not supported by Windows 8.

I cannot use my CAM CAdd Software from my water-jet  Machine since I Need A Registered Version on my Laptop in oder to run it .

Can  anyone please Guide me to a software which can Read DXF File and give me the total length of lines in it ?

I hope i am Clear in my Querysmile
