WATER JET ARMS breaking in half
Permalink

Recently our Water Jet clypso arms cracked on both ends straight through. We spot we welded it back and cut some new arms. we used 1 inch ALU 6061 Materials. for the new arms.  Thanks God we did because once again the motors took off when sending it back. and snaped the arms of around the new welds. I know these motors are strong. Has any one had this problem is thier somthing in the program that can be changed. I noticed that the old arms look like they were made to be fail points so if this did happend it would brake in stead of destroying the motors gears and track. The old arms looked like they were not solid. Long shot in the dark

thanks for your time
