does it have a pierce assist function?

We always pierced glass at low pressure, even without the flow vaccum assist, which is designed to help pierce glass and stone. we would turn our machine down to 25000-30000 PSI and i like to manually turn the abrasive on and off to preload the tube. It seems to help alot to have some garnet in the line so that when the on/off vavlve opens its immediately sucking garnet through

For cutting glass,it is better to use low pressure for pierecing, then chane to use high pressure for cutting. It is their PUMP weakness.
