Water recycle system for water jet
Permalink

Hi,

I am working to a small to medium scale manufacturing company. We use a water jet for our own purposes. We are in a process of reducing water consumption within our company. In that case we are look into recycle the water use in the water jet.

Is there anyone who use this kind of water recycling system within your company/ any other company?

Could you please help on this?

Thank you.

There are a couple different options to reduce the amount of water your waterjet consumes.  I would recommend contacting your manufacturer directly to see what options they recommend for your system.  Depending on the type of pump you currently use and your budget they should have a couple of different solutions for you.  It is possible to recycle the water on your system so you have no excess water going to the drain.

We use an Ebbco for the filtration. It has good results taking solids out before the pump, extending our life between rebuilds. There is a cost to those 5 micron filters that the Ebbco needs though. We estimate that the filters are costing us about $0.30 per hour.

It goes as high as $0.60 per hour after we flush the tank to remove the garnet though.

We are looking at a tank cleaning system that will prefilter before the Ebbco to 5 micron. Will also use to weekly to keep the tank empty with a 20 micron for garnet removal.

I have a three stage Ebbco filtration system and a garnet removal system. I would recommend them to anyone looking to save money on water and time on cleaning the tank.
