OK, here's an obscure one:
It seems in FlowCut, any circle has as least two nodes directly opposite each other, so it's two identical arcs placed tip to tip.  I assume there's a good reason for this.
On our machine, we were cutting a circle out of six inch stainless, with the lead-in/lead-out in the one o' clock position.
The drawing was originally for 100% rated speed (yellow) but we changed the speed in Flowcut so that the whole drawing was 40% (blue).
Once the lead-in was completed, the speed (in/min) gradually crept up to 10.9 inches per min.  Of course it's not that fast, but some Flow guy tweaked the display years ago to show more detail, by somehow moving the decimal point two places to the right, to observe more closely what was happening during machine diagnostics, and never changed it back.
So anyway, it stays steady at 10.9, and cuts fine in a counter-clockwise direction until it hits the node at 9 o'clock position, and then instantly changes from 10.9, to over 40!  Naturally, after a while the machine starts blowing back steam, water, and garnet, from a cut that is no longer penetrating the six inches of steel.  WTF?
To remedy this situation, I used the slider control on the screen to reduce the speed to about 23%, to change the inch per minute to 11.19, which is pretty close to what it was before.
However, if I shut the machine off (lunch break) and then come back and cut from a point, the inches per minute gradually increases from zero up to maybe 9.1, and then I have to use the slider on the screen to gradually increase it up to 27% to regain the 11 inches per minute that I had before lunch break.
Any ideas what this machine is thinking?

Flow WMC 60k dual intensifier single head, latest software I think.  CUTTING WITHOUT DYNAMICS, per request.  Circle approximately 40 inches in diameter.

cmngnscrwd, have you contacted Flow's technical service department on this one? Sounds like you have had something changed in your settings that should be reset. We had our decimal point moved out so we can see mover detail on the ipm readout but it did not affect anything on our machine like that. Just a thought anyway.

I was wondering when you cut something this thick what you are using for table slats and how fast they get cut up.
