Most likely you have some very short entities at the corners. You just need to edit them out.

Looks to me like a cluster of short entities causing the machine to slow way down and freak out. Try adjusting the programs corners into one entity and try cutting a sample.
having problems with cut at inside corners of letters, speed slows and notches corner...any help?
