hello, the shop i work in currently has a flow mach 4 dynamic waterjet. We have three operators who each went to the flow training myself included. I would be not call myself a seasoned waterjet operator by any means. In the short couple of years using the waterjet there is a ton of little tricks and ways of going about things i have done that worked and some that diddnt work. I try to check this site a couple times a week but there seems to be little in the way of activity. Myself i love learning and being able to do new things with the machine even though it can be boring and just a job at times. So lets have it , lets get the ideas flowing and talking about things. I recently was cutting holes in 4in schedule 40 pipe caps. I Cut a simple 5.5 in hole to fit the OD of the cap in a quarter inch plate to fixture the cap changed the z axis and got center every time. Simple enough but maybe somebody can use. Just an example.

Thanks for your sharing. It's really the stuff we don't learn in class.
