Ok new to this , we are setting up a used Bengal Flow system , is it normal for the jet head to get pretty hot ?

Not unusual for us. When the pressurized water exits the nozzle, some of it turns to steam instantly. It is due to the change in pressure. the head on our jet will be hot enough that it is normally dry because the water that splashes back on it evaporates immediately.

150 degrees f. is considered "normal" to me. Agreed with above, especially running abrasive.

I would agree with the 150 degrees using garnet, that is if you are running a heavy load of garnet. With a .010"-.030"-.5lb/min-120hpx(a) it shouldnt be that hot though. I have had my tanks get up to 135 degrees before when running thick material and say 4 heads, thats when you need to start running water into the tank to cool it!
