I have been using Bartons HPA 80 garnet on my flowjet and this has worked fine so far. We recieved a pallet of the HPX from Barton and were told to just use it. My question is what has anybody noticed as far as performance. This is only gonna be one time thing i believe as the cost of the HPX is more and we do not need that quality. Just any input would be nice .

If you are someone who uses your machine 5 hours a day, stick with HPA. On the other hand, HPX will cut 10% faster, which makes it the choice if your machine utilization is very high. If you are running one shift a day at 10 hours, and you obtain one more billable hour because of cut speed, the $150-200 extra money you made will cover the additional cost. If you multiple shifts at high utilization and a steady stream of work, HPX should certainly be considered.
