I have a Northwood 257 saw jet that I use to cut granite.  Some people have expressed interest in me cutting steel and aluminum for them.  My question is has anyone on here cut steel or aluminum with the same machine?  What did you run into as far as the garnet?  I figure the feed rate is going to be pretty slow for thicker materials but what about 1/4" and under?  Any words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated!
