Hi yall, first time on here for me.Recently we have been having trouble with some smsall mudballs collecting in the minihopper and it restricts the garnet feeding properly.
I am saying it is a result of too much water in the air lines.I think it is getting that real fine dust andwith the water it ismakeing the mudballs. We never had this problem before.Any answers?

I have seen this with very, very cheap Chinese garnet before....if it is from normal waterjet mist. If it is from the water backing up the hose, it is because your on/off valve needs to be rebuilt or from a previous nozzle clog.

I have never had mudballs but have had the feed block up from excess steam created by leaks at the cutting head. Flow has a flawed design on the abrasive meter in that the intake vent that allows the nozzle vacuum to pull the abrasive from the meter is at the bottom of the meter. Any excess moisture from piercing or leaks( steam) can mix with the abrasive moving through the passage way and slowly accumulates icicle style.

Dirty garnet can cause this as well.
